DUBAI: The International Cricket Council (ICC) released the official anthem for the forthcoming T20 World Cup 2024 on Thursday.
The official anthem for ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 was released on the governing body’s official YouTube channel and amassed more than 100,000 views in just a few hours of its release.

“Out of this World” features the voices of Grammy award-winning artist Sean Paul and the Trinidadian soca band Kes.
The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 is slated to kick off on June 1 with the tournament spanning across the West Indies and the United States (US).
The song blends Caribbean rhythms with an array of genres, borrowing elements from cultures around the world, symbolisng the appeal of cricket across the globe, with different cultures, ethnicities and people.
The music video of the official World Cup song features some of the greatest sporting personalities. Eight-time Olympic gold medalist Usain Bolt, West Indies cricketing legends Chris Gayle and Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Stafanie Taylor, Ali Khan and Virat Kohli all appear in the music video.
ICC’s General Manager of Marketing and Communications Claire Furlong was delighted at having international musicians such as Sean Paul and Kes contribute to the official anthem. The GM stated that the anthem will set the stage for a “month-long celebration of cricket”, where fans worldwide will unite to “revel in the excitement of the T20 World Cup”.

The ICC encouraged fans to create their own “dance interpretations” of the anthem’s “knock it out of this world” dance step that is featured in the music video.
