Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa has said that the government institutions are only taking care of the employees, talk about the people, what are they getting? What are the roads, water, electricity? Will you continue to give all the money in salaries?
A bench headed by Chief Justice Justice Jamal Khan Mandukhel and Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan heard the petition against dismissal of contract employees of Hyderabad Development Authority in Karachi Registry.
The petitioner contended that I was a regular employee of the Hyderabad Development Authority and not a contract employee.

Jats Jamal Khan Mandukhel remarked whether all regulations were followed in your appointment. How do we know if you have a degree or not? The court remarked that you were a contract employee, just read the appointment letter.
Justice Qazi Faiz Isa remarked that we know what happens in the committee. The list comes that they have to be kept, only the employees are filling it, where is the public service being done. We will see what the government departments are doing. Only the employees are being paid by sitting.

The petitioner’s counsel took the position that the government itself started the project and later sent back the employees, to which the Chief Justice said that we should not run the government, the government should run it itself.

The lawyer said that the recruitments were done under the package of the President and the Governor. The Chief Justice remarked that the law has been flouted in the name of authority. What authority do the president and the governor have? Did they have their own money? We will not allow if the constitution is violated. How did the President get the power to distribute money to whoever he wants? When did this happen? Who did it?
The lawyer said that the recruitments took place during the tenure of former President General Pervez Musharraf, the package was received. On which the Chief Justice said that the basis of something is wrong then this is what happens.
Later, the court rejected the plea of Hyderabad Development Authority employees against the dismissal.
