The federal government has decided to appoint Faisal Karim Kundi as governor in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Jafar Mandukhel as governor in Balochistan.
Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had a meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in which a detailed discussion was held on the appointment of new governors of Punjab, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Bilawal Bhutto proposed different names for Balochistan, Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, out of which the names presented in two provinces were approved by the Prime Minister.

In the meeting, it was decided to appoint Faisal Karim Kundi as the governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Jafar Mandukhel as the governor of Balochistan, while the post of governor of Sindh will remain with the MQM.
